For as long as I can remember, my dog Lucy has been my best friend. She was eager to greet me when I came home from the hospital and she’s been a part of almost all of my best memories.

Lucy was adopted from Baja Animal Sanctuary, a rescue from the streets of Tijuana, Mexico. From time to time, I would imagine her walking those streets – lonely, scared, and hungry. It made me sad and I decided that I didn’t want dogs to have to live like that.

So I started a company to do what I could to help. Best Friends Bakery was founded to help dogs like Lucy, plain and simple. We donate all of our earnings to local charities, in an effort to support companies who match dogs with the humans who will love them forever.
